Abstract

Il seguente articolo prende le mosse dal progetto di ricerca “Migrazione e Salute”, ovvero un monitoraggio sul sistema di accoglienza verso la popolazione immigrata dei servizi sanitari e la verifica dell’osservanza del diritto alla salute di queste popolazioni. Per comprendere meglio la situazione il Ministero del Lavoro, della Salute e delle Politiche Sociali ha promosso e finanziato questo progetto, con la responsabilità scientifica e il coordinamento dell’Istituto Superiore di Sanità, e attraverso la partecipazione di diversi enti tra cui Labos – Fondazione Laboratorio per le Politiche Sociali. Il prodotto che in questa sede intendo presentare, è caratterizzato sulle condizioni di lavoro che modificano il rapporto del singolo con il proprio corpo; prendendo in considerazione gli immigrati e il loro stato di salute e tutte le privazioni che questo gli comporta. Indagando, poi, sulla povertà relativa che genera una precarietà che si traduce nella mancata soddisfazione dei bisogni primari: l'immiserimento rispetto alle esigenze quotidiane e l’esclusione dai riti sociali.
