Abstract

Estudos em Psicologia do Desenvolvimento têm defendido a proposta do estudo por meio da interação social entre pares menos experientes e mais experientes. O presente trabalho objetivou incentivar a monitoria entre alunos (80 participantes do Ensino Médio) com a mediação da professora de Química e da psicóloga escolar. O trabalho foi desenvolvido com a formação de pares de alunos monitores e monitorados. Foram realizadas orientações para motivar o cumprimento dos estudos em pares (monitoria). Após as avaliações aplicou-se um questionário estruturado para avaliar se os alunos realizaram ou não a monitoria e os motivos responsáveis pelos resultados obtidos. Com a análise dos dados, verificou-se que o esforço, o estudo sistemático dos alunos e cooperação entre alunos foram fatores principais para sucesso nas notas. Os resultados indicaram que a mediação do estudo, somados à dedicação do aluno, facilitaram a aprendizagem
