PET SEXUALIDADE

Abstract

A criação do Programa de Educação Tutorial e sua consolidação envolvem uma trajetória histórica, com o objetivo de promover uma experiência acadêmica ancorada na indissociabilidade da trí­ade ensino, pesquisa e extensão. O PET Sexualidade e Educação Sexual desenvolvido no Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia do Rio de Janeiro surgiu em 2010. Este PET busca abordar a sexualidade como um aspecto inerente a todo ser humano e engloba a educação sexual enquanto uma estratégia essencial para promoção da saúde. Busca-se relatar as ações deste grupo e seus impactos no processo formativo discente, levando-se em conta a sua trajetória, alcance e especificidades. O Programa tem se destacado como indutor de aprendizagens significativas baseadas no compartilhamento coletivo de experiências, além de contribuir para qualificar o ensino e fomentar a divulgação do conhecimento sobre saúde e sexualidade junto a diferentes públicos
