Abstract

Foi determinada a curva de seletividade em redes de emalhar, segundo Gulland (1969), referente í­Â captura do saguiru-prata, Steindachnerina insculpta, na Represa de Ibitinga, Estado de São Paulo, Brasil, resultando: c* (L) = e - 0,4681(L-1,7210 m)2 Em que: c* (L) = frequência relativa de retenção L = comprimento total do peixe m = perí­­metro interno da malha da rede. O intervalo de seleção, expresso pelos comprimentos totais mí­­nimo e máximo de exemplares capturados por uma rede de emalhe com determinado perí­­metro de malha (m) foi: Lm = 1,7210 m - 1,22 (cm) LM = 1,7210 m + 1,22 (cm) Foi também determinada a relação entre peso total (W) e comprimento total (Lt), dada pela expressão W = 0,0134 L 3,0259 (Santos, 1978).
