
Title: Evidence-based medicine: review of the concept.Resumen:En el presente artículo se revisa el concepto de medicina basada en evidencias (MBE); la MBE es una forma de engranar la mejor evidencia disponible con la pericia y las habilidades individuales del médico; es también una manera de nutrir la práctica médica con datos científicos. Inicialmente se realiza un recorrido por la historia del concepto, seguidamente se hace una revisión de lo que son niveles de evidencia y grados de recomendación, finalmente se describe de manera concisa la forma de hacer MBE.
