Abstract

O propósito deste artigo é discutir o texto como tecido da cultura, evidenciando uma relação necessária entre ambos. Partimos dos pressupostos teóricos de pensadores que abordam a linguagem e, consequentemente, o texto como indissociáveis de momentos históricos, políticos, culturais da sociedade, tais como Émile Benveniste, Iúri Lotman, Mikhail Bakhtin, Roland Barthes e Valentin Volóchinov. Metodologicamente, fizemos uma pesquisa bibliográfica pela qual levantamos reflexões concernentes ao nosso objetivo; ao relacionarmos tais reflexões, buscamos o fundamento teórico à pesquisa. As considerações apontam que tanto a cultura como os sujeitos constituem-se pela linguagem, e os textos mostram-se como reflexos e refrações de perspectivas ideológicas da vida
