Impacts of Us Stock Market on Vietnam Stock Market

Abstract

This study evaluates impacts of US stock market, represented by Dow Jones Industrial Average Index (DJIA), on Vietnam stock market, particularly on the VN-Index and six investment portfolios classified by size, growth and liquidity. Results show that DJIA has positive effect on VN-Index and the six portfolios. The more liquid portfolio is most affected by the DJIA
