
The article concerns the current tendency towards a new kind of totalitarianism accordingly with the main data of the postmodern culture, which denies the possibility of a general good, leaning instead on the peculiar identities. It is about a less violent totalitarianism then the old kind from the 20th century, preferring not to repress but to inhibit in a moral and also legal way thewill of the majority by using the minorities issue. Thus, in the behalf of certain ethnical, racial and sexual groups, the largest part of population is forced to constrain itself as a decisive factor in the public space, what means to empty the democracy of its positive content: the majority’s rule.
