Instrumenty płatnicze – wycena kosztów i korzyści

Abstract

W artykule przedstawiono autorski podział i metodę pomiaru kosztów i korzyści instrumentów płatniczych w przekroju czterech głównych podmiotów łańcucha płatności – banku centralnego, banków komercyjnych, punktów handlowo-usługowych i konsumentów. Zaproponowaną teoretyczną koncepcję badania można by zastosować do analizy instrumentów płatniczych w Polsce. Próby były już podejmowane przez autora samodzielnie i wraz z zespołem badawczym. Jednak – ze względu na szeroki zakres badania, jego znaczny koszt i niechęć potencjalnych podmiotów do ujawniania wrażliwych danych – nie udało się dotąd przeprowadzić kompleksowej analizy. Natomiast sukcesem zakończyły się badania na węższą skalę, dzięki którym lepiej poznano problematykę (w tym kosztową) instrumentów płatniczych w Polsce.
