Abstract

Las «casas para el curado de tabaco» diseminadas por el paisaje de la Vega de Granada (España) suponen algo más que el recuerdo de una arquitectura marginal, bella y olvidada. Estos modelos sencillos de arquitectura industrial que persiguen la «esencia», se convierten en tamices de luz y sensaciones traspasables por los sentidos a partir de una epidermis horadada y protagonista con claras posibilidades de hacer suyos los usos mas dispares. Desde la indagación sobre la infalibilidad del hecho arquitectónico procedente de la observación de «cualidades permanentes», ajenas a estilos, usos, economía, condiciones sociales o cultura, que hacen de la arquitectura una exigencia eterna, se desvelan, en un constante ejercicio de intertexto, las «invariantes» que van siendo descubiertas a partir del análisis inductivo de los modelos de la arquitectura embrionaria de este peculiar patrimonio heredado.
