Abstract

Se realiza un análisis crítico de la bibliografía publicada acerca de la Ataxia de Friedreich a partir del año 1968, tomando en consideración que la evolución del hombre comenzó en el continente africano y al expandirse hacia otros territorios llevó consigo la información genética legada por sus antecesores. Hace 24 000 años ocurrió una mutación en el gen FRDA, el que no fue identificado hasta el año 1996 por lo cual en Cuba se comenzó a desarrollar un proyecto de investigación, utilizando las tecnologías de punta al nivel mundial favoreciendo gratuitamente a las familias afectadas por esta mutación, en contraposición con la discriminación genética establecida en países capitalistas por un hombre que se encuentra "involucionando" y terminará de hacerlo al tiempo en que destruye su planeta.
