Influencia de la permeabilidad del suelo no saturado en los taludes de presas de tierra

Abstract

Esta investigación propone incrementar la pendiente del talud aguas abajo en una presa de tierra de 30 metros de altura, homogénea y conformada por diversas combinaciones cortina-cimiento con suelos de las formaciones Mariel y Toledo, en estado saturado y parcialmente saturado, mediante la incorporación de las curvas de conductividad hidráulica y las curvas características de los suelos. Se realiza el análisis para colchón y prisma de drenaje utilizando los programas SIGMA/W, SEEP/W y SLOPE/W y el método de Morgestern-Price para estimar el factor de seguridad del talud aguas abajo. Se obtiene como resultado que es posible tener pendientes más empinadas al incluir las leyes de la mecánica de suelos no saturados en el análisis de la estabilidad de taludes en presas de tierra.
