ABSTRACT Backgrounds: Propolis is a resinous substance of vegetable origin with bactericidal, bacteriostatic, fungicidal and antibiotic actions. In the institution is used as raw material for the production of the 15 % alcoholic solution. Objectives: the objective of this research is the introduction of a new line of pharmaceutical product in CIBHO’s productions: the 5% propolis tinctures. Methods: Technological proposed process is based on a modification of Pichansky´s alcoholic extraction method, there consists of three alcoholic successive extractions, with intermediates temperature controlled conditions filtrations processes and steps of separation of pollutants waxes, standardization, filling, labeled and packing of the final product. Results: The operation procedures were designed and a creative work session was carried out employing work group methods to determine the possible trade name and product´s label, taken account legal documents referred to industrial property and denominative marks OCPI registered. Finally, three experimental lots were prepared and they were evaluated according to quality specifications recounted in the National Form 2010. Both inspection and assaying processes, as well as continuous improvement and customer feedback guaranteed an excellence product that is commercialized through the network of pharmacies belonging to the Farmox Company. Conclusions: Questionnaires realized by the last one, reflected that the antiparasitic properties constituted the pharmacological action of major social impact. Key words: propolis, alcoholic extraction, antiparasitic action
