Evolution of anuran amphibians / Evolução dos anfíbios anuros

Abstract

The present research deals with an exploratory study carried out through bibliographical research. Bibliographic searches are based on the databases of Scielo, CAPES, Google Scholar. We selected 08 international articles; 2 national articles; 06 international information sites and 02 national and 07 national and international 1 book that met the inclusion criteria. This study denoted that the evolutionary changes of the animals in question are true, and that some of these characteristics were shaped by their adaptations to earthworms throughout the era, taking thousands or even millions of years. Many animals were extinguished, being this phenomenon consequence of several factors, among them movements of continents and the effects of such movements in the climate and the geography. Knowing the evolution of species is relevant to studying their behavior.
