CONTRIBUTION OF MATHEMATICAL DISPOSITION, METACOGNITION ON MATHEMATICS LEARNING ACHIEVEMENT STUDENTS

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar kontribusi disposisi matematis dan metakognisi terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa. Adapun jenis penelitiannya yaitu ex-post-facto. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian yaitu seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 3 Sungguminasa Kabupaten Gowa. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 105 siswa yang diambil dengan menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrument angket dan tes hasil belajar matematika. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis deskriptif dan analisis inferensial (analisis regresi linear). Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa: (1) konstribusi disposisi matematis sebesar 0,4% pada hasil belajar matematika sedangkan 99,6% lainnya adalah variabel lain yang tidak diteliti; (2) konstribusi metakognisi sebesar 4,6% pada hasil belajar sedangkan 95,4% lainnya adalah variabel lain yang tidak diteliti; (3) konstribusi disposisi matematis dan metakognisi secara simultan sebesar 5,1% pada hasil belajar matematika siswa sedangkan 94,9% lainnya adalah variabel lain yang tidak diteliti; (4) disposisi matematis memiliki pengaruh yang positif pada hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII; (5) metakognisi berpengaruh secara positif terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa yang dapat dilihat pada persamaan yang menggambarkan peningkatan satu unit Y akan meningkatkan sebesar 0,071 dan sebesar 0,216.
