MONITORIZACION Y APUNTAMIENTO PARA RADIOS COGNITIVOS MEDIANTE DISPOSITIVOS AUTONOMOS

Abstract

Este trabajo esta motivado por la funcion de monitorizacion requerida en redes de radios cognitivas. Para este n, se diseñaron e implementaron dos dispositivos autonomos para la busqueda de señales electromagneticas. Uno de ellos se mantiene jo, mientras el otro realiza la busqueda para optimizar el apuntamiento de sus antenas. El dispositivo que realiza la busqueda, transmite una señal que debe ser regresada por el otro dispositivo, la potencia de la señal es evaluada para cada posicion. Una vez terminada la busqueda se decide en que ubicacion se obtuvo la mayor potencia de la señal recibida, habilitando entonces la transmision entre dos usuarios. En este trabajo tambien se muestran los patrones de radiacion a diferentes distancias y un analisis para estimar el numero de muestras de potencia adquiridas en una posicion particular. Ademas, se realiza una comparacion de la potencia obtenida en distintas posiciones, optimizando la busqueda mediante metodos heursticos. Una ventaja del sistema propuesto es su autonoma, ya que no requiere de subsistemas para su control y puede operar con una batera o con una conexion a la lnea electrica. El sistema propuesto mejora el apuntamiento entre dispositivos y por ende la calidad del enlace y la potencia de recepcion.
