Abstract

Sammendrag Feltkurs er en av de viktigste aktivitetene for studenter i feltbaserte disipliner som geografi, biologi, geologi, arkitektur, fysisk planlegging med mer, da trening av observasjonsevne er avgjørende for forståelse av slike fag. Dessverre medfører mangel på forkunnskaper, lite ressurser og store studentgrupper at undervisningen passiviserer heller enn aktiverer studentene. Mer studentaktive arbeidsformer er derfor ønskelig i feltbasert undervisning. Studentenes foretrukne læringsmetoder påvirker motivasjon og læringsutbytte, og er av stor betydning når nytt fagmateriell skal utvikles. Vi har derfor gjennomført spørreundersøkelse og fokusgrupper for å undersøke studenters foretrukne læringsmetoder og oppfattelse av feltkurs, dets forarbeid og etterarbeid. Våre funn viser at studentene er komfortable med passiviserende undervisning, men også at de er positive til bruk av mange ulike læringsmetoder. Med utgangspunkt i undervisningsprinsippene i akronymet KAMPVISE reflekterer vi over mulighetene for å innføre digitale verktøy i feltbasert undervisning, og ser på hvordan dette kan støttes med teori om kombinert læring, omvendt undervisning samt ønsker fra studentene selv om variert undervisning.
