Abstract

A possibilidade do uso do palmiteiro para a recuperação de áreadegradadade mineração é estudada. Com cercadedoisanosdeestabelecimentodasplantas,prazo de tempo muito curto para conclusões definitivas sobre espécie perene de ciclo longo, evidenciam-se o bom desenvolvimento das plantas e a sobrevivência. Técnicas de implantação com baixos níveis de investimento são discutidas.
