Variación de pendiente del talud aguas abajo en presas de tierra con suelo de la formación Capdevilla en estado parcialmente saturado

Abstract

Se realizó un análisis estadístico luego de variar la pendiente del talud aguas abajo en una presa de tierra de 20 m de altura con colchón de drenaje y sin contemplar la cimentación de esta, considerando el suelo saturado y parcialmente saturado. Se presentó un caso de estudio para el suelo de la formación cubana Capdevila, y a partir de utilizar las herramientas SEEP/W y SLOPE/W, del programa GeoStudio 2012 y el programa Statgraphics (versión 5), se obtuvo la línea de corriente superior de la red de flujo y el factor de seguridad del talud aguas abajo para diversas combinaciones de cohesión y ángulo de fricción internas fijadas por el programa estadístico. Se realiza un posterior análisis donde se observa que es posible aumentar la pendiente del talud aguas abajo para el caso planteado y que el factor más influyente en la estabilidad es la cohesión del suelo.
