Interculturalidad desde la lectura en lenguas originarias

Abstract

El Perú es un país que se caracteriza por su diversidad sociocultural y lingüística, y porque aún subsisten profundas desigualdades sociales. Frente a esta realidad, desde el ámbito educativo se propone que todos tengan igualdad de oportunidades educativas independientemente de sus diferencias culturales, sociales, étnicas, religiosas, de género, condición de discapacidad o estilos de aprendizaje. Los enfoques “inclusivo o de atención a la diversidad” e “intercultural” (del Currículo Nacional) se plantean como lineamientos para atender la diversidad. En este contexto, el Ministerio de Educación del Perú desarrolla materiales para motivar y desplegar habilidades lectoras en lenguas originarias, buscando además fortalecer los conocimientos de su tradición cultural y conocer otras culturas desde una perspectiva intercultural, no solo en el ámbito escolar sino también en el contexto familiar y comunal. Las evaluaciones nacionales vienen demostrando avances en el logro de habilidades lectoras en lenguas originarias y castellano como segunda lengua. Aunque en ninguno de los casos, los resultados de las evaluaciones en lenguas originarias son superiores a los resultados en castellano como segunda lengua, se aprecia una tendencia creciente en todas las lenguas originarias, lo que se traducen en una reducción importante de las brechas.
