Abstract

El estudio del crimen organizado comporta un imperativo actual, que revela en su particular esfera, la ausencia de un consenso en la sistematización de los conocimientos afines a la disciplina criminológica y que deriva en una insuficiente contribución de cara a su aplicación pragmática en el marco jurídico y político – social. Éste trabajo expone pues un limitado pero válido aporte a ésta monumental empresa que continua como deuda de la Escuela Criminológica. Particularmente, se propone exponer las derivaciones substanciales que suscriben las definiciones conceptuales que entrega la disciplina como tal, el requisito fundamental del análisis particularizado de las experiencias alrededor del orbe, y la ineficaz implementación de políticas de seguridad que se promueven a partir de su tratamiento en las instancias multilaterales. Vale decir que, los delitos transnacionales constituyen un fenómeno incipiente en constante reinvención, afianzamiento y expansión tanto en América Latina como en Europa, zonas geográficas que alude someramente el presente artículo.
