Algoritmo terapéutico para pacientes con fractura diafisaria de tibia

Abstract

Fundamento: la fractura de la diáfisis tibial constituye una entidad traumática muy frecuente. Sin embargo, no existe una conducta estandarizada para el tratamiento de estos enfermos, de allí la im-portancia de llegar a un consenso sobre los pasos a seguir en pacientes con esta afección.Objetivo: validar un algoritmo de tratamiento para pacientes con fracturas diafisaria de tibia.Método: para la validación del algoritmo, se empleó el método de Delphi, mediante la consulta a un grupo de expertos constituido por 16 especialistas en Ortopedia y Traumatología, pertenecientes a cinco instituciones médicas del país. Los profesionales consultados presentaron como promedio 18,5 años de experiencia profesional, un doctor en Ciencias Médicas, seis con categoría científica de Master, cinco especialistas de segundo grado, un profesor titular.Resultados:se calcularon los valores correspondientes a la matriz de frecuencias absolutas, matriz de frecuencias acumuladas, matriz de frecuencias relativas acumuladas y matriz indicativa de los puntos de corte.Conclusiones: el algoritmo propuesto por los autores resultó validado en cuanto a: diseño, apli-cabilidad, pertinencia, reproductibilidad y sentido práctico.
