ÖDEMİŞ ASMASİFİNDEKİ (MENDERES MASİFİ) OLASILI PAN-AFRİKAN META VOLKANİTLERİ

Abstract

Batı Anadolu'da yer alan Menderes masifi, yaşlı kristalin kayaçlardan oluşmakladır. Bu masifin son ana metaorfizması Üst Paleo sen-Üst Eosende gerçekleşmiştir, Menderes masifinde yer alan inceleme alanında gözlenen kaya birimleri alttan üste doğru temel gnays kompleksi, mavi gözlü gnays, leptit (metavolkanit), şist ve mermer olarak .saplanmıştır. Bu metamorfik birimler post-metamorfik asidik ve bazik plutonlarla kesilmiş ve genç volkanitler tarafından örtülmüştür. Gnays ve şist birimleri arasında yer alan leptitler dasil ve riyolit bileşimindeki volkanitlerin metamorfik eşlenikleridir. Ada yayı türü olan bu kayaçlar kalkalkalin karakterdedir. Yaş, jeolojik konum ve kimyasal bileşim özellikleri yönünden Menderes masifinin Ödemiş asmasıfinde yüzlek veren bu meta volkanitler Pan-Afrikan orojenezinin son fazlarına .ait olan ve Kuzeydoğu Afrika ve Arap yarımadasında geniş yayılım gösteren ada yayı karakterlerin deki volkanitlerle deneştirilebilir.
