Conflicto social y espacio urbano.

Abstract

El presente artículo se propone enfocar los alcances y límites de las experiencias de organización de la población villera de la ciudad de Buenos Aires entre 1958 y 1976. Reivindicamos este espacio de la experiencia popular como digno de ser estudiado en su especificidad y no como subordinado a otros objetos de estudio, sean estos la llamada Nueva Izquierda, las organizaciones político-militares, la cultura militante de los sesenta y setenta, la izquierda peronista en los setenta, etc. Proponemos como hipótesis que las formas de organización de la población villera de la ciudad de Buenos Aires se nutrieron de la experiencia directa e indirecta de los pobladores en otros ámbitos (laboral, sindical y/o político), a la vez que se enriquecieron con el aporte de la activa militancia fundamentalmente peronista y de izquierda de los sesenta y setenta.
