Impacto de las estaciones de carga para vehículo eléctrico en la curva de carga de la Ciudad de Cuenca

Abstract

El presente artículo presenta un estudio prospectivo sobre la curva de demanda energética del sector residencial de la ciudad de Cuenca, asumiendo una masificación del uso del vehículo eléctrico, y las estaciones de carga a nivel doméstico con una potencia promedio de 5.83 kW. Se analizaron escenarios con diferentes números de vehículos eléctricos conectados según el nivel de penetración de este al medio ecuatoriano, considerando escenarios sin esquema tarifario, con un esquema tarifario y con recarga inteligente. Los resultados revelan que el esquema tarifario es eficiente para los primeros años de introducción del vehículo eléctrico, dado que la recarga de las baterías del vehículo se desplaza a un horario de baja demanda, sin embargo, cuando la penetración de vehículos eléctricos aumenta, se requiere de una estrategia como es la recarga inteligente, que permite tener una distribución con mayor uniformidad en el periodo de demanda baja.
