PENGEMBANGAN MODUL IPA TERPADU BERBASIS KONFLIK KOGNITIF TEMA PEREDARAN DARAH DI SMP NEGERI 6 WONOGIRI

Abstract

Sesuai KTSP pembelajaran IPA di SMP seharusnya disajikan terpadu, namun banyak kendala sehingga IPA dibelajarkan tidak terpadu, terpisah antara fisika dan biologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui penyiapan modul yang dikembangkan; (2) mengetahui kualitas modul yang dikembangkan; (3) mengetahui efektivitas modul yang dikembangkan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan untuk pembuatan modul IPA terpadu berbasis konflik kognitif tema peredaran darah. Penelitian dan pengembangan ini melalui tahap pendefinisian, perancangan, pengembangan, dan penyebaran. Draf modul yang dikembangkan divalidasi oleh ahli modul dan teman sejawat kemudian direvisi, diujicobakan terbatas, kemudian diujicobakan pada 1 kelas sesungguhnya dan direvisi menjadi modul produk akhir. Modul disebarkan ke guru IPA untuk mendapatkan respon. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar validasi modul, soal hasil belajar, dan angket respon terhadap modul. Kualitas modul ditentukan dengan memvalidasi draf awal modul. Data yang diperoleh berupa skor, kemudian diubah menjadi data kualitatif skala empat. Hasil pre tes dan pos tes dianalisis dengan uji t dengan program SPSS 19. Kesimpulan hasil penelitian dan pengembangan ini adalah: (1) modul yang dikembangkan setelah direvisi termasuk kategori "sangat baik" untuk kelayakan isi, bahasa, penyajian, kegrafikan, pendekatan, dan keterpaduan; (2) modul yang dikembangkan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dilihat dari peningkatan rerata nilai sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan modul.
