Abstract

Fragmento En la Convención de Medicina Interna celebrada en Barranquilla en Octubre de 1966, presentamos preliminarmente los hallazgos en el recuento de cromosomas de 6 cretinos asilados en la Colonia de Mendigos de Sibaté. En dichos recuentos nos sorprendió el alto porcentaje de aneuploidía, pues un 43% de las células sanguíneas cultivadas y examinadas contenían un número de cromosomas anormal, mayor o menor de 46.
