Se describe la influencia que los filósofos de la posmodernidad han ejercido en la crítica de los métodos analíticos e interpretativos utilizados por el positivismo, el funcionalismo y el realismo científico, así como el surgimiento de nuevas epistemologías y ontologías en las ciencias sociales.
