A fecha 1 de abril de 2020 en España seguimos inmersos en una crisis sanitaria sin parangón, como consecuencia del virus SARS-Cov-2 y la enfermedad que origina, COVID-19, que ha originado una pandemia y desafiado a los sistemas sanitarios de todo el mundo. Pero también esta pandemia ha hecho que la población general tome conciencia de la importancia que la investigación tiene para la salud y bienestar de las personas y que la investigación que se centra en la prevención (en cualquiera de sus niveles) es fundamental. Abstract On April 1st, 2020, in Spain we are still immersed in a sanitary crisis that has no parallel, caused by the SARS-Cov-2 virus, and the illness it origins, COVID-19, which has generated a pandemic and challenge the sanitary systems all over the world. But this pandemic also has done people become aware of the importance that research has for health and people well-being and also that research that focuses on prevention (whatever the level) is essential.
