Abstract

Se revlsaron 34 historias de pacientes acromegálicos vistos en la consulta de Endocrinología del Instituto Nacional de Cancerología entre los años 1950 a 1967. 31 pacientes recibieron tratamiento radioterápico. 3 pacientes no recibieron tratamiento por acromegalia controlada. De los 31 pacientes, cinco debieron ser enviados a Hospital General por persistencia de los síntomas. 7 fueron perdidos de vista. 19 pacientes están en observación con acromegalia controlada.
