Producción de forraje y estabilidad de centenos diploides y tetraploides

Abstract

Los cultivares tetraploides de centeno superan en calidad de forraje a los diploides, aunque las diferencias no son consistentes respecto del rendimiento de materia seca de su ciclo productivo. Se evaluó la producción total de materia seca y la estabilidad ambiental de tres variedades de centenos diploides y tres variedades tetraploides difundidas en la Región Semiárida Pampeana. Para ello se utilizó la metodología propuesta por Finlay y Wilkinson (1963) y Eberhart y Russell (1966) durante un periodo de 10 años (1985-1994). No se encontró diferencias en el rendimiento de materia seca durante el ciclo productivo de ambos grupos. Ambos niveles de ploidia expresaron adaptabilidad y estabilidad promedio.
