Qualität im Diamond Open Access

Abstract

Sowohl die (Diamond)-Open-Access-Bewegung als auch das Erstarken der Digital Humanities im geisteswissenschaftlichen Fächerspektrum werden verursacht durch die immer stärkere Durchdringung aller gesellschaftlichen Bereiche durch digitale Methoden, Tools und Prozesse. Digitales Publizieren in den digitalen Geisteswissenschaften führt diese Entwicklungen zusammen: Am Beispiel der Zeitschrift für digitale Geisteswissenschaften nimmt der vorliegende Beitrag zentrale Aspekte für die Gründung und den Betrieb einer Diamond-Open-Access-Zeitschrift in den Blick. Er stellt Fragen nach Community und Autorschaft, nach der Qualitätssicherung als Faktor für Innovation und Reputation und nach der Messbarkeit von Qualität, Reichweite, Reputation und Einfluss und versucht, sie selbstkritisch zu beantworten.
