Abstract

Hostigamiento. Acoso Sexual. Universidades Públicas Abstract The sexual harassment in the university spaces of Latin America and the Caribbean is a topic that has not been explored, despite the denunciations that emerge through social networks and social movements that evidenced the magnitude of the problem. Talking about gender violence, also implies talking about a normalized violence in our societies and inside university spaces. This article analyzes the way in which sexual harassment and harassment is expressed in public university spaces, inserted in contexts of violence but also of a marked social inequality, where women, in conditions of poverty, occupy the last link of a wide chain of exclusions and injustices. Taking the context of what happens in a university in the Mexican southeast. Keywords: Violence. Sexual Harassment. Public Universities
