Evaluasi Usability Aplikasi Mobile Sampingan Menggunakan Metode Usability Testing dan System Usability Scale (SUS)

Abstract

Pada tahun 2018 diluncurkan sebuah aplikasi yang membantu para pencari pekerjaan paruh waktu bernama Aplikasi mobile Sampingan. Aplikasi ini merupakan aplikasi yang sangat membantu menghasilkan penghasilan tambahan bagi para penggunanya sesuai dengan observasi yang penulis lakukan pada ulasan aplikasi mobile Sampingan di Google Playstore, namun ditemukan cukup banyaknya komplain dari pengguna terkait aplikasi ini sehingga menjadi urgensi tersendiri dalam perbaikan aplikasi yang memiliki banyak peminat ini. Sehingga diperlukan evaluasi untuk selanjutnya dapat dilakukan perbaikan pada permasalahan yang dialami pengguna menggunakan metode usability testing dan SUS. Menurut Nielsen (2012) terdapat beberapa aspek yang perlu diukur untuk mengetahui permasalahan usability yaitu learnability, efficiency, error, dan satisfaction. Task scenario dan kuesioner SUS digunakan sebagai instrumen pada penelitian ini yang diberikan kepada 20 pengguna baru, dan terdapat instrumen wawancara yang melibatkan 5 pengguna lama serta 5 pengguna baru aplikasi mobile Sampingan. Dari pengumpulan data yang dilakukan, hasil yang didapatkan yaitu hasil aspek learnability yaitu 87%, aspek efficiency yaitu 0,019 goals/second pada perhitungan time-based efficiency dan 76,3% pada perhitungan Overall Relative Efficiency (ORE), aspek error yaitu 7,6%, serta aspek satisfaction yaitu 59,63 yang menggunakan kuesioner SUS. Selain itu ditemukan 17 permasalahan usability dari proses wawancara yang selanjutnya diberikan rekomendasi perbaikan berdasarkan 23 guidelines yang digunakan.
