DESENVOLVIMENTO DE UM COLETOR SOLAR UTILIZANDO RECICLAGEM DE LÂMPADAS FLUORESCENTES

Abstract

O uso de coletores solares para aquecimento de água ainda é pouco difundido no Brasil. O objetivo deste trabalho foi desenvolver um coletor solar plano para aquecimento de água utilizando lâmpadas fluorescentes queimadas. O coletor foi avaliado medindo-se a evolução da temperatura diária da água e calculando o seu rendimento térmico em três períodos distintos (12 a 16 de fevereiro, 12 a 15 de julho e 12 a 15 de dezembro de 2001). As medidas da radiação solar foram realizadas com actinógrafo bimetálico e das temperaturas de interesse realizadas com termômetro de mercúrio. O estudo estatístico consistiu em análise de regressão. Os resultados mostraram que o coletor solar apresentou maior rendimento térmico em dias de menor radiação solar e que a temperatura máxima da água ocorreu por volta das 16 horas, atingindo um máximo absoluto de 51,5oC, 41,0oC e 55,0oC nos meses de fevereiro, julho e dezembro, respectivamente.
