Abstract

Este artículo comprende la finalidad de analizar la aplicabilidad del teletrabajo y trabajo remoto como práctica de seguridad para enfrentar la crisis provocada por el Covid-19. Este artículo proporciona resultados tanto teóricos como prácticos. Desde un punto de vista teórico, el enfoque de Baruch y Nicholson se amplía con factores tecnológicos que explican la concepción del teletrabajo. Basándose en una perspectiva funcional, se ha obtenido una base de datos de empresas que han incluido el teletrabajo como medida para enfrentar el covid-19 en un contexto de crisis. En concreto, la crisis del Covid-19 muestra cómo las empresas han implementado el teletrabajo para dar continuidad a la actividad económica garantizando la seguridad de sus empleados. Por tanto, los factores de seguridad son relevantes en el estudio del teletrabajo y deberían tomarse en cuenta para futuras investigaciones
