La periferia izquierda en la tragedia griega clásica: el caso de las oraciones de relativo

Abstract

El objetivo del trabajo es ofrecer una descripción sintáctica y funcional de las oraciones de relativo de la periferia izquierda en la tragedia griega clásica. Sintácticamente, las oraciones de relativo de la periferia izquierda pueden ser postnominales, con el núcleo interno y, sobre todo, libres. Funcionalmente, suelen operar en el dominio de la organización del texto introduciendo temas o marcos. También pueden incluir comentarios modales o valoraciones sobre el contenido de la oración supraordinada o un segmento de ella (dominio de las actitudes del hablante). Este último dominio, sin embargo, está mejor representado en la periferia derecha.
