Abstract

Voulant donner aux pages qui suivent une portée pratique en m’interrogeant sur ce que, lusophones et francophones, nous pouvons faire ensemble, je me bornerai dans un premier temps à considérer nos deux langues dans leur commune aspiration à l’universalité : mais parle-t-on de la même universalité ici et là ? Dans un deuxième temps, j’envisagerai l’appartenance de nos langues à la famille romane en examinant les moyens dont l’Université dispose pour renforcer le sentiment de notre identité latine dans les esprits. Dans un dernier paragraphe, je me risquerai à établir un parallèle entre la CPLP et l’Organisation internationale de la Francophonie (OIF) : n’y aurait-il pas de grands avantages à s’inspirer de l’expérience et de la configuration de l’OIF, en particulier du point de vue de la collaboration universitaire ?
