The aim of the considerations is to assess the tourist attractions of industrial heritage and technical thought situated on the Wałbrzych Region. The methods used to achieve the above goal were: literature analysis, observation and multicriteria valorisation. The research area includes post-industrial objects valuable in terms of architecture and allowing direct contact with the his¬tory of technical thought in the field of mining and porcelain production. Adaptation of inactive objects is an example of an operation that allows to save from oblivion the industrial heritage of the region, whose socio-economic development has been closely related to it for centuries. How¬ever, railway tunnels under Mały Wołowiec remain unappreciated monuments of technology.
