Abstract

Cette réflexion montre avec force qu’avec l’essor de la pensée néo-classique dans la doctrine économique, la pensée économique ne s’est pas contenté de régenter les vieux débats entre les classiques et les marxistes ou les classiques et les keynésiens, mais par contre, elle s’est investie à utiliser la logique économique dans l’analyse et la compréhension de tous phénomènes sociaux à l’instar des élections dans un système voulu démocratique. L’appropriation de la pensée néoclassique par les acteurs impliqués dans des jeux démocratiques transforme la sphère électorale en véritable marché qui devient l’origine et l’aboutissement de tous les comportements sociaux. Ainsi, il apparaît clairement que l’électeur est devenu un consommateur dont le comportement est identique à ce dernier.
