MAPEAMENTO DO AQUÍFERO GRANULAR DO RIO SUCURU-PB POR GPR E ELETRORRESISTIVIDADE

Abstract

Neste trabalho os métodos de investigação direta e indireta de alta resolução (GPR e eletrorresistividade) são aplicados com o objetivo de mapear o aquífero granular do Rio Sucuru, no município de Sumé-PB, o qual se encontrava seco. Foram adquiridas duas seções de GPR sobrepostas por duas linhas de eletrorresistividade, uma transversal e outra paralela ao rio. Adicionalmente, foram realizadas sondagens a trado nas extremidades das linhas de investigação. O GPR se mostrou um excelente indicador do nível d’água, assim como o topo do embasamento cristalino. A seção de eletrorresistividade reconheceu claramente o canal preenchido de sedimentos no eixo do rio, além da ocorrência de rochas resistivas na borda do canal.
