Abstract

A hepatite B é uma doença infecciosa muito prevalente na população. Das diversas formas de transmissão dos vírus encontra-se o contágio sexual, sendo que o comportamento sexual de risco aumenta as chances de sua aquisição. Além do enfoque nas evidências de que a hepatite B é uma D.S.T., são brevemente discutidos a etiopatogenia, quadro clínico, profilaxia e tratamento.
