Azitromicina no tratamento da sífilis recente na gravidez

Abstract

Os autores apresentam alguns casos, em que três gestantes portadoras de sífilis recente (sifílides papulosas) que apresentavam impossibilidade para o uso de penicilina G. benzatina e foram tratada com azitromicina 1g/semana por 3 semanas. Duas delas apresentavam fenômeno prozona na sorologia VDRL. Todas evoluíram para cura clínica e sorológica. Nenhum recém-nato apresentou sinais clínicos nem sorológicos de infecção sifilítica ou outro distúrbio até pelo menos três meses após o nascimento. Não ocorreram efeitos colaterais importantes.
