Abstract

Las cuotas de género se han convertido en el medio ideal para garantizar la integración e incorporación de las mujeres en la vida política. Cada vez son más los países y los partidos que han apostado por este tipo de medidas, y la cuestión es averiguar el impacto que están teniendo. De ahí que en este artículo nos hayamos centrado en evaluar el resultado que han logrado las cuotas de género no sólo a la hora de aumentar la participación de las mujeres en los ámbitos políticos sino también en los espacios de poderGender quotas have become the ideal means to ensure the integration and mainstreaming of women in political life. More and more countries and parties have backed such measures. The question is to determine the impact they are having. Hence in this article we have focused on evaluating the results achieved by gender quotas in increasing the participation of women not only in the political field but also in areas of power
