Bombeo óptimo de los pozos del sistema de abasto El Gato

Abstract

El suministro de agua mediante estaciones de bombeo implica un alto costo energético que a largo plazo se convierte en el mayor costo de operación. En este trabajo se aplica un modelo de optimización para desarrollar una propuesta de operación del sistema fuente de abasto de agua del acueducto El Gato con el objetivo de minimizar el costo de energía eléctrica. El resultado principal consiste en establecer un esquema operacional del acueducto que minimice el costo de energía eléctrica para un periodo de 168 horas. Como resultados prácticos de la aplicación del modelo se obtienen el costo y consumo de energía eléctrica y un cronograma de operación que define la secuencia de encendido y apagado de cada estación de bombeo. Palabras clave: abasto de agua, algoritmos genéticos, costos de bombeo, optimización.
