HIDROGRAFIA DO COMPLEXO ESTUARINO-LAGUNAR DE CANANÉIA (25ºS í 48ºW) SÃO PAULO, BRASIL. I í SALINIDADE E TEMPERATURA (1973 A 1980)

Abstract

Apresenta-se uma visualização global do sistema lagunar de Cananeia, quanto a salinidade e temperatura médias de superfí­­cie, considerando-se dados coletados no perí­­odo de 1973 a 1980, com intervalo aproximado de três dias, em 18 estações de coleta. Comentam-se as transformações que ocorreram nesses parí­¢metros em função da construção de uma barragem, em 1978, no trecho final do Rio Ribeira de Iguape (Valo Grande). Na situação ANTES do fechamento do Valo Grande, a salinidade mí­­nima variou de 1O/oo a 23O/oo e a máxima, de 15O/oo a 33O/oo; na situação DEPOIS, a variação da salinidade mí­­nima foi de 17O/oo a 29O/oo e a da salinidade máxima, de 25O/oo a 35O/oo. A temperatura média ANTES variou de 23,3°C a 25°C e DEPOIS, de 23,6°C a 30,5°C. A salinidade em torno da Ilha de Cananeia continua heterogênea e a laguna mostra ainda caracterí­­sticas de estuário, mesmo com a cessação da contribuição do Rio Ribeira de Iguape, devido í­Â rede hidrográfica própria da região de Cananeia.
