Abstract

Lozzia, María E.; Aldo R. Andrada & María E. Cristóbal. 2007. “Estudios citológicos en tres especies del género Monnina”. Lilloa 44 (1-2). El género Monnina es americano y en Argentina cuenta con 11 especies. Se realizó el análisis citogenético de tres especies del NW argentino que forman parte del ecosistema andino. En este trabajo se informa un citotipo de M. dictyocarpa Griseb. con n=10 así como los recuentos meióticos de M. wrightii A. Gray, n= 9 y M. lorentziana Chodat n=10 cromosomas. Este último recuento se da a conocer por primera vez. Los resultados son discutidos respecto a la posibilidad de que se traten de poliploides con dos números básicos x=5 y x=10.
