Macrofitobentos del Sublitoral Somero del municipio Playa, La Habana, Cuba.

Abstract

Se presenta el inventario taxonómico actualizado del macrofitobentos de la zona litoral somera del municipio Playa, La Habana, Cuba. Se realizaron recolectas mensuales en cinco sitios con diferente grado de afectación antrópica entre los años 2011 y 2014. Se muestreó en la zona sublitoral hasta 2 m de profundidad, mediante buceo en apnea. Fueron incluidas las especies del área de estudio citadas con anterioridad en la literatura, considerando solamente las encontradas hasta 5 m. En los muestreos, se registraron 50 taxones infragenéricos de macroalgas. Se identificó un nuevo registro para la zona noroccidental de la plataforma cubana: Trichogloeopsis pedicellata (M. Howe) I. A Abbott & Doty. El sitio La Francesita, acumuló el mayor número de taxones, el cual posee un nivel intermedio de enriquecimiento por nutrientes. El sitio que menor número de especies presentó fue Calle 170, aledaño al río Quibú, altamente contaminado. Al incluir las especies registradas por la literatura para la zona se alcanzó un total de 194 taxones: 90 Rhodophyta, 31 Heterokontophyta, 68 Chlorophyta, cuatro Magnoliophyta y una Cyanobacteria.
