Formação Docente Intercultural e Colonialidade do Saber

Abstract

O artigo problematiza o modelo de pensamento que fundamenta a colonialidade do saber na formação de professores em contextos latino-americanos. Tem como objetivo ressignificar as bases epistemológicas e metodológicas nos processos formativos educacionais. Reconhece que é do encontro e do diálogo entre diferentes racionalidades que a formação docente na perspectiva da interculturalidade se abre para um posicionamento crítico, ético e político em defesa da dignidade e da liberdade humana e de seus vários modos de ser e de fazer. Trata-se de uma reflexão qualitativa, cuja metodologia adotada é histórico-bibliográfica, no sentido de (re)desenhar os processos curriculares de formação docente. Ante o exposto, considera que pedagogias decoloniais e interculturais tornam possível o reconhecimento das diferentes racionalidades em Abya Ayla na medida que assumem um posicionamento de (des)construção dos modelos autoritários e autossuficientes da ciência moderna-colonial.
