Estimación de las emisiones provenientes de fuentes fijas en la ciudad Las Tunas

Abstract

Para evaluar y diagnosticar la emisión de los principales contaminantes emitidos se realizó un inventario de las fuentes fijas en la ciudad de Las Tunas, acorde a lo establecido en la norma cubana (NC 1049: 2014). Se logró determinar cuál es la industria que más emite, así como los gases que más afectan la calidad del aire en la zona poblacional afectada. Se caracterizaron las condiciones meteorológicas y el comportamiento de las variables que a escala local influyen en el transporte y dispersión de contaminantes a través de métodos de observación y la utilización del modelo meteorológico WRF. Con la utilización de los modelos de dispersión CALPUFF y AERMOD, se simularon los efectos temporales y espaciales, de las condiciones meteorológicas en el transporte, la transformación y la deposición de contaminantes en la atmósfera, logrando conocer cuáles son las características de la dispersión en la ciudad y su influencia en la calidad del aire de los consejos populares afectados. Como elemento esencial, este estudio permitirá confeccionar posteriormente un pronóstico para identificar situaciones de emergencias, monitorear la calidad del aire y la realización de estudios de impacto ambiental.
